Northern California is home to a diverse and fascinating array of insects, from the beneficial bees that pollinate plants, to the predatory assassin bugs and spiders that keep pests in check. In this gallery, I share some of my images of these incredible creatures that often go unnoticed, but play vital roles in the ecosystem.
